Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Make a Match type cooperative learning model on improving learning outcomes in Hindu Religious Education in class III SDN 015 Rattedaonan. This research is a class action research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 10 grade III students. Data collection techniques used learning outcome tests, student activity observations, and documentation. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes from the average pretest score of 50.16, increased to 64.32 in the first cycle posttest, and reached 80.08 in the second cycle posttest. The paired t-test results showed that this improvement was statistically significant with a p-value less than0.0001. It can be concluded that the Make a Match model is effective in improving Hindu Religious Education learning outcomes.
