This research discusses Hindu ethical values education in a modern context by highlighting the role of teachers and learning strategies at SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. This study aims to identify the learning strategies used by teachers in instilling Hindu ethical values and evaluate their effectiveness in internalising moral values in students. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that contextual and integrative learning strategies, including Yoga practices and the use of Hindu literature, were able to improve the understanding of ethical values, but not yet fully internalised by students in their daily lives. This research contributes to the development of a locally-based ethics learning model and confirms the importance of the teacher s role as a value facilitator. These results are important for strengthening cultural and spiritual value-based character education policies in schools.
