Pembentukan Etika Hindu melalui Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu pada Materi Bhakti Marga Yoga Di Kelas X Di SMKN 1 Luwu Timur

Advances in digital technology have presented serious challenges to the ethical formation of students, especially due to the excessive use of gadgets that interfere with the internalisation of character values. In this context, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of Hindu Religious Education learning based on Bhakti Marga Yoga values in shaping the Hindu ethics of class X students at SMKN 1 East Luwu. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest) on 10 students selected by total sampling. The research instruments were a four-level Likert scale questionnaire and an observation sheet of respectful behaviour towards teachers, with data analysis through the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test at the 5percent significance level. Results showed a significant increase in the mean Hindu ethics score from 58.2 to 77.5 after the learning intervention, with a p value = 0.000 (smaller than 0.05). The findings suggest that the application of Bhakti Marga Yoga-based learning is effective in improving students ethical behaviour, particularly in terms of respect, sincerity, and devotion, and strengthens previous literature by extending the application of Hindu value learning models in a pluralistic and digitalised general education context.
