Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Video Animasi Pada Materi Upaveda Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Di SMP Negeri 7 Mataram

Abstract

This research aims to develop animated video-based learning media on Upaveda material that is suitable for use in teaching Hindu Religious Education and Character in class VII Middle School. The type of research used is Research and Development (R and D), using 10 Bord and Gall development stages which are simplified into 4 stages, namely the data collection stage, planning stage, product development stage, as well as validation and field testing stages supported by the ADDIE (Analysis) method, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Making animated videos using the Canva, VN Video (Editor and Maker) and Capcut applications. Data was obtained through product validation tests by media experts and material experts, then tested on 50 class VII students at SMP Negeri 7 Mataram, who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The effectiveness of the product developed was declared very feasible based on media experts with a percentage of 100 percent and material experts 91.9 percent as well as limited trial results of 84 percent which were categorized as very good and field trial results with an average percentage of 88 percent with a tcount value of (8.525) greater than ttable at a significance level of 5 percent so that animated video-based learning media products are stated to be able to increase student learning motivation. The implications of animated video-based learning media were very well received and had a positive impact on both media experts, material experts, and teachers as users, as well as students as samples where the use of interesting learning media was able to increase students  learning motivation significantly.
