This research discusses the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Wijaya Kusumah Kindergarten, Tasikmalaya City. The purpose of the study is to analyse the effectiveness of the curriculum implementation in supporting holistic early childhood development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the curriculum successfully supports children's development in cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual aspects through thematic activities and project-based learning such as gardening and art activities. The curriculum also allows for customisation of learning to children's individual needs. However, there are challenges in teacher adaptation and availability of supporting facilities. The contribution of this research lies in providing in-depth insights into the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum at the PAUD level and its relevance to child-needs-based education. These results are important to encourage the development of more adaptive and creative education policies with the aim of improving the quality of learning in the future.
