Nonverbal communication plays a very important role in learning in Early Childhood Education (PAUD), because children at an early age are not yet fully able to understand and express themselves through words properly. Nonverbal communication is a form of communication that does not use words, either spoken or written, but through facial expressions, gestures, body language, eye contact, voice intonation, and environmental elements such as distance and touch. The study used nonverbal communication theory, the research methodology used a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this study consist of three important points, namely: first, forms of nonverbal communication such as facial expressions, movements and body language, eye contact, touch, intonation and tone of voice and the use of useful aids to stimulate children's understanding of what is conveyed by the teacher. Second, the nonverbal communication process used by Jnana Vidya PAUD teachers is not only to understand the lesson material, but can also create a comfortable, enjoyable learning and playing environment that supports children's social-emotional development. The three implications that arise are positive impacts for children, especially in terms of recognizing learning situations and conditions so that the learning process in the classroom becomes conducive. Nonverbal communication also improves children's social emotional development so that they can understand the feelings of their friends and people around them.
