According to psychologist Stefanie Pekasa M. Psi, children's financial intelligence can be taught from the moment they start receiving pocket money. The main point of giving allowance is not the amount, but how to teach children to manage their own money. Financial planner from Janus Financial, Dwita Ariani, stated that giving pocket money is a way to teach children to manage money from an early age. With the responsibility of managing their own money, children will be helped in their maturation process, and financial management has a very significant role in determining the level of well-being of a person and a family. The method used in the research is Community Education, which aims to increase children's understanding and awareness of Financial Literacy. The implementation of the activity was carried out for 3 days, namely on June 28-30, 2024. At the time of the implementation of the activity, there were 15 children who were divided into elementary school groups from grades 1 to 5. The results of this community service use a qualitative descriptive method and the implementation of this activity is carried out for approximately 45 days. The implementation of this Financial Literacy activity discusses how to manage finances correctly and this is very important to learn, especially for early childhood because it can change the character of children, how to manage their finances in adolescence later so that they do not have extravagant traits The role of Financial Literacy is very influential on early childhood because by providing knowledge about financial literacy and how to manage finances, children increasingly understand how important it is manage personal finances and make children more interested in saving so that they can buy as they want and children can also distinguish between wants and needs.
