Strategi Guru Dalam Pengembangan Fisik Motorik Anak Usia Dini Melalui Tari Seledet Pong

The purpose of this research is to analize clearly about the Teacher's Strategy in Early Childhood Physical Motor Development through Seledet Pong Dance. The problem formulations that have been researched in this study are: 1) How is the learning process of Seledet Pong dance in developing physical and motor skills of early childhood, 2) What are the teacher's obstacles in developing the physical and motor skills of early childhood through Seledet Pong dance, 3) What are the teacher's strategies in developing the physical and motor skills of early childhood through Seledet Pong dance. The approach in this study has used descriptive qualitative methods. The types and sources of data that have been used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques have used observation, interview, and documentation methods. Then the data obtained is explained in accordance with the concept and analysed using the theory of constructivism and behaviouristic theory. The results of this study found that the learning process of Seledet Pong dance is that students are required to participate in dance learning, prepare the equipment and properties used, provide warm-ups, provide movement theory, and dance learning with music and properties is carried out. Teacher constraints found in developing physical and motor skills through Seledet pong dance are difficult to manage the mood of students, students often experience lack of focus, the absence of an expert dance teacher, and emotionally unstable dance mentors. And the teacher's strategy in developing physical and motor skills through Seledet Pong dance is to invite students to interact while playing, approach and help students demonstrate dance movements, teachers learn to dance by themselves, class teachers participate in assisting the dance learning process.
